What does reading fault codes cost in Almere?

What does it mean when my check-engine light is on?

With our diagnostics we read out the fault codes and tell you exactly what is going on and how urgent it is.
Can I keep driving with the check-engine light on?
Sometimes you can, sometimes you can't: it depends on the cause. A flashing light usually points to a serious problem where carrying on driving can damage the engine or catalytic converter and so cost you more. So have it read out in good time, and you'll know for sure whether you can safely continue.
Am I committed to anything after the diagnosis?
No. You pay €50 for the read-out and the explanation, and after that you receive a no-obligation price quote for any repair. You decide yourself whether and where you have the repair done: you're not tied to anything.
Is a diagnosis handy before the APK or a purchase?
Yes, definitely. Before the APK, a diagnosis prevents surprises, because engine-management faults can lead to a failure. When buying a used car, a read-out session shows whether there are hidden fault codes stored in the memory. Combining it with the APK (€70) in a single visit is also possible.
Does the diagnosis work on all makes?
Yes. Our diagnostic equipment reads the fault codes of virtually all makes and models via the OBD-II port. Just give us your registration number when booking, and we'll see your car's details straight away.
