We are an independent garage in Almere for every make: petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric. Servicing, repairs and diagnostics we do ourselves, in our own workshop on the Televisieweg. How a visit works
- You send a messageWhatsApp us your licence plate and what you want done, in English. From the plate we already see the make, model, year and when the APK expires.
- You get a priceA fixed amount where we have one (APK €70, diagnosis €50), and a from-price where the work depends on the car. If we cannot say without seeing the car, we say that instead of naming a number.
- You pick a timeMonday to Saturday between 10:00 and 19:00. The APK runs on weekdays and the car needs to be with us by 15:00, because the RDW registration closes at the end of the afternoon.
- You drop the car offTelevisieweg 63, free parking in front of the door. Hand over the key, tell us how to reach you, and you can go.
- We message you when it is readyIn the same chat. If we run into something we did not expect, you get a photo and a price before we touch it — and you decide.

Do the mechanics really speak English?
Yes — and if a detail is easier to show than to say, you get a photo. Our team also speaks Dutch, Ukrainian and Russian. The whole visit, including the quote and the final explanation, can run in English on WhatsApp, so you have it in writing.
Can I get an APK on a foreign licence plate?
No. An APK only exists for cars registered in the Netherlands, so a foreign plate cannot get one anywhere in the country. What we can do is a technical check from €100: the same points a mechanic looks at, with a written result. Booking that is done by a person, not by our chatbot — just write to us on WhatsApp and someone will take it from there.
What does the APK cost and what is included?
A fixed €70, for petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric alike — the diesel smoke test is included, without a surcharge. You can have the inspection done up to two months before the expiry date without losing any of the remaining validity. If the car fails, you get the points one by one with a price for each, and if we do the repair, the re-inspection within the legal period is included. See the APK page for the details.
A warning light is on. What does it cost to find out why?
Reading the fault codes plus a look at the running gear is €50. A full computer diagnosis of engine and running gear is €100. If you then have the repair done with us, the inspection itself costs you nothing — it is part of the job.
Can you check a car before I buy it?
Yes, a pre-purchase inspection is from €100. You get a written list of what is worn, what is broken and what it would cost to put right, which is also what you negotiate the price with. Bring the car here, or agree with the seller that they do. More on the pre-purchase inspection page.
Do I need to make an appointment?
For a quick job you can often come the same day, but message us first — that way we know the car is coming and you are not waiting. For an APK we do need a slot on a weekday, with the car here by 15:00.
What warranty do I get?
Three months on the work we carry out. On the parts you get the manufacturer’s warranty, which is usually longer. Keep the invoice: it names the parts and the oil specification, which is what a next garage or a buyer will ask for.

What we deliberately do not do: body welding and rim repair — a damaged rim we replace, we do not weld it back together. We also have no tow truck of our own. If your car cannot drive, say so in the first message and we will tell you what makes sense.
