How much does a clutch replacement cost in Almere?

How do I know if my clutch is worn?
Typical signs are: the engine revs higher without the car going any faster (slipping), a heavy or high clutch pedal, jolting when pulling away and difficult or notchy gear changes. Recognise this? Send us your registration and we'll check the clutch and give you honest advice.
Why does replacing a clutch take so long?
It is labour-intensive work: to reach the clutch, the gearbox has to come out. That is why most of the price is in the labour rather than the parts. We plan the work carefully so your car is ready again as quickly as possible.
Do the release bearing and flywheel need replacing too?
Since the gearbox is already out, it is often sensible to replace the release bearing at the same time. Sometimes the flywheel is worn too; we assess that on a car-by-car basis. We discuss any extra parts up front, so you are never caught out by surprises.
Do I get a quote in advance?
Always. We check the clutch first, determine which parts are needed and then give you a clear quote. You never pay for work you haven't approved.
Can I keep driving with a slipping clutch?
Better not. A slipping clutch only gets worse and can cause damage to other parts, making the repair more expensive. Have the clutch checked in good time at our workshop in Almere, Mon–Sat from 10:00 to 19:00.
