How much does an aircon recharge cost in Almere?

Why does my aircon no longer cool properly?
An air conditioning system loses a little refrigerant every year, which is normal. Over time it therefore cools less well. Often the solution is simple: measure the pressure and recharge the refrigerant. Sometimes there is a leak or cleaning is needed; we spot that during the check.
Which refrigerant do you use: R134a or R1234yf?
The from €100 price applies to systems running on R134a (most cars up to around 2017). Newer cars use the refrigerant R1234yf; that is more expensive, so the price for it is from €130. Give us your number plate and we can see straight away which system your car has.
My aircon smells musty: what can you do?
A musty or unpleasant smell is usually caused by mould and bacteria in the system. We can clean and disinfect the air conditioning so the air is fresh again. This comes under cleaning/disinfection (on request), separate from the recharge.
Is recharging worthwhile if there is a leak in the aircon?
No. If there is a leak, the refrigerant you have just topped up will leak out again and the aircon will soon cool poorly once more. That is why we first trace and repair the leak (on request) before recharging for good.
How do I keep my aircon in good condition?
Tip: run the air conditioning every now and then in winter too. That keeps the seals supple and the system under pressure, which prevents leaks. It also helps to have the aircon checked and recharged once every few years.
Why does an air-con recharge cost more than €50 with you?
We don't just top it up by feel. First we measure the pressure, then we vacuum the system and run a leak test, and only then do we refill exactly the amount of oil and refrigerant the manufacturer specifies.
