I came in to change my tyres before a trip, but it turned out my brakes were completely worn and there was even a deep groove in the disc. I was very surprised they had missed this at the previous inspection.

What does a repair cost at a garage in Almere?
At AutoJet you know the price before we start. The APK is a fixed €70. Where the hourly rate depends on the vehicle class, we give a from-price: minor service from €200, major service from €300, oil change from €160, brake pads + discs per axle from €330. Other work is charged at an hourly rate from €79, and you get a quote first.
Can I come without an appointment?
You can always call or drop by during opening hours (Mon–Sat 10:00–19:00, closed on Sunday). APK and servicing go fastest if you book a slot — online with your licence plate or by phone on +31 6 12070065. Urgent (the car won't drive, brakes)? We see whether it can be done the same day.
What if you find something else during the work?
Then we stop and call or message you with a photo and a price. We only continue after your approval. No approval = no work and no invoice for that part.
How long does it take?
For a wheel swap you wait or leave the keys and we call when the car is ready. We arrange the APK (on weekdays, bring the car before 15:00) at an accredited station: you leave the keys and we call when the car is ready, usually 30–40 minutes, sometimes up to 1.5 hours. A minor service takes 1 to 1.5 hours, a major service half a day. If parts need to be ordered, you hear it straight away with a new collection time.
Can I bring my own parts?
Yes. We fit parts you buy yourself. The warranty then covers only our work, not the part itself. If it doesn't fit or the wrong part was ordered, we charge the time we spent — we tell you that upfront.
Where exactly is your garage?
At Televisieweg 63, 1322 AJ Almere — the Gooise Kant business park, easy to reach from Almere Stad, Poort, Buiten and Haven. We do servicing, repairs and diagnostics ourselves, in our own workshop.
Do you speak Ukrainian or Russian?
Yes. Our mechanics speak Dutch, Ukrainian, Russian and English. You can explain the problem in your own language — that avoids misunderstandings when tracking down the fault.
Do you give a warranty?
We give a 3-month warranty on our work. And because we work to the manufacturer's specification with original or equivalent parts, your factory warranty stays intact (European BER rules) — we stamp the service book.
Which makes do you repair?
All common makes — Volkswagen, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Opel, Toyota, Ford, Renault, Peugeot, Citroën, Škoda, Volvo, Kia and Hyundai. We don't do body welding.
